One injured after e-scooter crash in Calgary’s Beltline neighbourhood

Calgary police say one person is recovering from minor injuries after a crash between an e-scooter and a car.

Emergency responders were called to the northeast corner of 11 Avenue S.W. and 8 Street S.W. at around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Video footage of the crash shows the scooter under the front tire of the vehicle.

Police say the driver remained on scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
