More than 800 Airdrie homes without power, Fortis Alberta says

Many residents living in north side of Airdrie, including many rural properties, north of that city are without power on Tuesday.

Fortis Alberta says 827 customers in the area are blacked out after an issue was reported at 7:09 a.m.

The utility provider does not have any information about the cause of the outage, but it’s expected to be restored by 10 a.m.
