Closure near Highway 13, 520 interchange expected this weekend

Drivers who commute in the area of Highway 13 and the 520 interchange should prepare for potential traffic headaches this weekend due to work by Quebec’s Transport Ministry (MTMD).

Several closures are expected as part of reconstruction work on the Highway 520 (Côte-de-Liesse) overpass above Highway 13 (Chomedey).

Detours are expected to be marked with temporary signage.

As such, the following closures are expected:

Closures in the area of the Highway 13 and 520 interchange from May 29 to June 1, 2026

• Closure of A-520 East between Exit No. 4 (A-13 / Laval / Lachine / Montée de Liesse) and the entrance from A-13 North

From 11 p.m. Friday to 11:59 p.m. Sunday:

• 23e Avenue will be closed to northbound traffic between Louis-A. Amos Street and Côte-de-Liesse Road in the eastbound direction.

From 2 a.m. Saturday to 9 p.m. Sunday:

• The ramp from the A-13 South to the A-520 East will be closed.

From 3 a.m. Saturday to 8 p.m. Sunday:

• Closure of the eastbound service road on Highway 520 (Côte-de-Liesse Road) between the entrance to A-13 South and the ramp from A-13 North.
• The ramp from A-520 East to A-13 North will be closed.

The pedestrian underpass:

• The pedestrian crossing under Highway 520, at the continuation of Station Street, will be closed until it is rebuilt.
• A shuttle service will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for pedestrians wishing to cross. The stops should be marked with temporary signage.

Work may be postponed, extended or cancelled in cases of adverse weather conditions or operational constraints.
