Residents in the northern part of our region are dealing with a foggy start to the day. Environment Canada has issued a yellow fog advisory Sunday for Bracebridge, Gravenhurst, Orillia, Lagoon City and Washago. The national weather centre says there are areas of dense fog in the morning where visibility is reduced. Forecasters are warning people of areas with near-zero visibility and to take extra caution on the roads, allowing for more time to reach where you need to go. The fog is expected to dissipate over the course of the morning. According to Environment Canada, Sunday will see a mix of sun and cloud and a high of 18 C. While the trees are staying still for the most part, slight winds will make for a bit of a breeze. The UV index will be 3 or moderate. There’s a small chance of showers overnight with a relatively mild evening as it drops to 9 C. Waking up on Monday, clouds will take over after as a long stretch of sunny days comes to an end. The high will be 13 C.
