A home invasion resulted in two men getting stabbed and another assaulted on Sunday morning in Montreal’s Saint-Michel neighbourhood. Montreal police (SPVM) received a 911 call at 7: 55 a.m., and officers responded to find a 35-year-old man on the corner of Legendre Street East and Saint-Michel Boulevard with upper body injuries caused by an edged weapon. The victim told officers to head to an apartment on 14th Avenue near Louvain Street East, as there could be other victims. “Officers went to that apartment to make some verifications, located a man of 24 years old that was injured,” said SPVM spokesperson Jean-Pierre Brabant. “That man was a victim of an assault.” Another 911 call came in shortly after about a third victim on the corner of Robert Street and 13th Avenue. “On site, officers located a man aged 24 years old that was injured by an edged weapon,” said Brabant. The three victims were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Initial information suggests that multiple people forced themselves into the 14th Avenue apartment and stabbed the two men and assaulted the other, Brabant said. The suspects fled on foot, and there have been no arrests made to date.
