How to stay cool in Orillia during the heat wave

With the Yellow Heat Warning issued by Environment Canada, Orillia is offering a host of cooling centres and splash pad locations to help residents stay cool.

Cooling and hydration centres:

• Orillia Public Library
• Orillia Recreation Centre

Splash pads

• Clayt French Park
• Victoria Park
• Hillcrest Park
• Moose Beach at J.B. Tudhope Memorial Park (open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.)
• Walter Henry Park

Public Beaches

• Couchiching Beach
• Moose Beach

Note: Lifeguards on extended hours until 6 p.m.
