Someone has posted a sign on a Saanich trail warning users of a jogger leaving behind more than just footprints on the public path.
Whoever posted the sign at Knockan Hill Park says they’ve caught the man letting "his bowels loose on numerous occasions” beside the trail.
“My dog rolled in it one day!” the exasperated sign-maker writes. “The smell lasted for days and haunts me still.”
The middle-aged man was apparently caught running out of the bushes before 6 a.m. one day.
“Look out for this man and if you catch him, please rub his nose in his shame,” the sign says.
A CTV cameraman given the unfortunate job of investigating stumbled upon piles of human feces beside the path – complete with crumpled up toilet paper.
Saanich Police say they haven’t fielded any complaints about the public pooper, and though it would be a stretch, the act could be considered mischief.
