A Winnipeg woman is facing a slew of charges for 15 years of alleged harassment, threats, and intimidation. The Winnipeg Police Service began its investigation in July 2026 after receiving a report from one of the victims. Officers then went on to identify 11 victims, including the woman’s family members, former acquaintances, and co-workers, as well as members of the media and legal professionals. Through their investigation, police determined that hundreds of phone calls, emails, texts, and letters were sent to the victims between 2011 and 2026. Officers allege the woman would also “randomly” attend locations associated with the victims and leave gifts or try to speak to them. The length of the suspect’s contact with each of the victims lasted from several months to more than a decade, according to police. The investigation culminated on Sept. 3 when police searched a home in the 400 block of Stradbrook Avenue. Officers took a woman into custody and seized electronic devices as evidence. A 58-year-old woman has been charged with several offences, including seven counts of criminal harassment, two counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, and one count of public mischief.
