A Manitoba-shot television series starring Jon Hamm is set to premiere on Sunday. Crime thriller “American Hostage” is scheduled to come out on Crave. The series, which stars Hamm as Fred Heckman, tells the story of a beloved radio reporter who finds himself in the middle of a crisis when a hostage-taker demands to be interviewed on his news program. During his time filming in Manitoba, the “Mad Men” star was spotted at several location attractions, including the WAG-Qaumajuq, Rae and Jerry’s and a Winnipeg Jets game.
