Essex County OPP have charged five drivers with impaired driving after three separate incidents. On Friday at 8:48 p.m., OPP officers investigated a traffic complaint on Lake Drive near Lakeview Drive in Lakeshore. A 17-year-old male of Belle River was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code offences: On Sunday at 2:53 a.m., officers investigated a motor vehicle collision on Highway 3 near Morse Road in Leamington. A 32-year-old McGregor woman was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code offences: On Sunday at 11:23 p.m., officers investigated a traffic complaint on Manning Road in Tecumseh. A 31-year-old Windsor resident was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code offences: On Monday at 1:13 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle on I.C. Roy Drive in Lakeshore. A 27-year-old Windsor man was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code offences: At 4:27 a.m. on Monday, officers conducted a traffic stop on County Road 23 at Highway 3 in Kingsville. A 40-year-old Lakeshore woman was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code offence: The accused were all scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor to answer to the charges. In each case, a 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.
