Windsor police say an e-scooter thief has turned himself in. On Aug. 5, the WPS launched the investigation after several e-scooters were stolen across Windsor. On Aug. 18, police posted video of the alleged theft. Police say after seeing the social media post seeking to identify him, the 54-year-old man turned himself in at Windsor Police headquarters shortly after 10 a.m. on Thursday. He is charged with mischief not exceeding $5,000. Anyone with information can contact the WPS Pawn Unit at 519-255-6700 ext. 7431.
