The Municipality of Chatham-Kent is informing residents about advance voting options for the 2026 Municipal Election. Eligible Chatham-Kent voters will have three opportunities to cast their ballot in person ahead of Election Day on Oct. 26, 2026. Here’s when advance polls will be open: Eligible voters can cast their ballot at any of the following advance voting locations, regardless of where they live in Chatham-Kent. Where to go: Voting at advance poll locations will be by paper ballot only. Voters are encouraged to bring their Voter Information Notice with them to help make the voting process quicker. Proper identification is also required to vote and a list of acceptable ID can be found at www.ckelection.ca. Electors who require an accessible voting device can vote at the Chatham-Kent John D. Bradley Centre, 565 Richmond Street, Chatham, during any of the three advance voting days and on Voting Day. Internet voting Eligible voters can also vote online during the internet voting period. Internet voting opens Thursday, Oct. 8 at 10 a.m. and closes Friday, Oct. 16 at 4:00 p.m. Advance voting provides residents with additional opportunities to cast their ballot before Voting Day and allows eligible electors to choose the advance polling location that is most convenient for them.
