A person was struck by a GO train in Mississauga on Saturday night, resulting in a portion of the Lakeshore West line being shut down. There was no GO train service on the Lakeshore West line between Port Credit and Exhibition stations Emergency services were called to a train crossing on Ogden Avenue, south of Fourth Street, shortly before 8 p.m. The circumstances surrounding the incident were not immediately known. It led to “significant delays” on the Lakeshore West line as there was no service between Port Credit and Exhibition stations. GO buses were running express between Port Credit and Kipling GO stations. Two train trips on the Lakeshore East line were also cancelled as a result. Regular service resumed shortly before 10 p.m.
