A motorcyclist has died following a Wednesday morning collision involving a transit bus in Brampton. The crash happened near Bovaird Drive East and Great Lakes Drive, just east of Highway 410. Peel Regional Police said they were called to that area just before 10:30 a.m. They said a motorcyclist in their 50s has been pronounced deceased. The driver of the bus was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries. Currently, northbound 410 heading eastbound to Great Lakes Drive is closed. Great Lakes drive westbound to Highway is also shut down as police investigate. Police are asking drivers to use alternate routes. More details to come. This is a developing story.
