One person has been pulled to safety from a vehicle that was found submerged in the Credit River in Brampton late Thursday afternoon. The incident happened in the area of Martins Boulevard, Peel Regional Police say. Investigators say they attended that area just before 6 p.m., along with Brampton Fire and Emergency Services, and extracted an individual safely from a vehicle. Paramedics told CP24 that they transported one patient to a local hospital. There is no update on extent of injuries, they noted.. This investigation is ongoing. More details to come.
