Police have made two arrests after a man was stabbed in the back in Toronto’s east end last week. It happened near Danforth and Broadview avenues on Aug. 11. Police say that the victim was approached by two males who he knew. One of the suspects then allegedly stabbed the victim in the back while the other stood by. Both suspects then fled the scene. The victim was subsequently found on the ground by a passerby, who called 911. He was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. Hung Nguyen, 66, of Toronto, was arrested on Aug. 14 and charged with five offences, including attempted murder. The second suspect – 44-yerar-old Colin Miller, of Toronto - was arrested the following day and charged with attempted murder. Police continue to investigate and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
