OPP in Oxford County are looking to identify a dirt bike rider after an officer was injured during an unrelated traffic stop. On Friday Sept. 25 around 3:00 p.m. a member of the Oxford OPP was on general patrol when they initiated a traffic stop on Pitcher Street in Norwich. While walking back to their cruiser the officer was struck by somone performing a “wheelie” on a dirt bike. The individual struck the officer and then fled the scene. The officer sustained minor injuries. The suspect is being described as a white male between the ages of 16 and 25, waring a white San Francisco 49ers hoodie and blue jeans. The dirt bike is being described as having a black frame with red seat, single pipe exhaust, four-stroke engine, and off-road tires.
