Man wanted on Canada-wide warrant among three arrested in Stanley Mission, Sask.

Stanley Mission RCMP say three people, including a man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant, have been arrested in connection with four assaults in the community.

Police were first called to a medical clinic around 10:15 a.m. on April 30 after a 26-year-old man arrived with serious stab wounds. While at the clinic, officers received a report of a second injured man at a house on Charles Street.

Police found a 29-year-old man with serious stab wounds at the home. Two more injured men, 52 and 35, later arrived at the clinic on their own.

Police determined all four assaults happened at another house on Charles Street. RCMP say there is no risk to public safety.

Three of the victims were taken to hospitals in Saskatoon and La Ronge with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

RCMP arrested two men and one woman. Dillon Sewap, 31, Thomasina Sewap, 26, and Logan Anthony Wood, 29, are each charged with forcible confinement, aggravated assault and robbery.

Dillon Sewap and Thomasina Sewap are scheduled to appear in court in La Ronge on May 4. Wood, who was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant, remains in hospital.

All three remain in police custody.

Saskatchewan RCMP say officers from La Ronge and Prince Albert assisted with the investigation.

Stanley Mission is located about 310 km north of Prince Albert.
