Man charged with voyeurism after taking photos of women on U of S campus

A 45-year-old man is facing a voyeurism charge after police allege he was taking women’s photos on the University of Saskatchewan campus.

Shortly before 12 p.m. on Thursday officers were called after campus protective services received reports of a man taking inappropriate photos of women without their consent.

Protective services detained a man matching the suspect description before police arrived. He was later taken into custody by the Saskatoon Police Service following further investigation.

Police say the man has been charged with voyeurism.

The SPS vice unit continues to investigate.
