A Calgary man is facing charges following a drug trafficking investigation in Yorkton. According to Saskatchewan RCMP, on Sept. 16, officers with the Yorkton Trafficking Response Team arrested a man at a home on Bradbrooke Drive in the community. A search warrant was executed at the property, and $1,600 in cash, 701 grams of cocaine, 85 pills of unknown composition and drug trafficking paraphernalia were seized. As a result of the investigation, a 23-year-old man from Calgary, Alta. has been charged with possessing cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possessing property obtained by crime over $5,000. The accused is set to make his first appearance in Yorkton Provincial Court on Thursday. The investigation continues, according to RCMP.
