Saskatchewan residents may encounter disruptions at several emergency rooms in the province. The Davidson Health Centre and Watrous District Health Complex are both experiencing a disruption of emergency services that began during Thanksgiving long weekend. According to the Saskatchewan Health Authority’s website, the 24-hour Watrous complex will be open from 4 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. for Oct. 12. Davidson’s health centre will be open on Oct. 12 from 8 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. The SHA’s website also noted enduring disruptions at Kamsack Hospital and District Nursing Home, Wolseley Memorial Integrated Care Centre and Wilkie and District Health Centre, which has been closed since November 2023. As of January 2024, Kamsack’s emergency room was open seven days a week between 8 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. only. Since November 2024, Wolseley’s centre has been open Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. only.
