A 31-year-old man faces several charges, including possession of incendiary materials, after a disturbance at the North Bay Regional Hospital on June 16 “It was reported that an individual attempted to gain access to a secured area of the facility and made threats to set a fire. The individual was held by security and arrested upon police arrival,” the North Bay Police Service said in a release June 26. “Following the arrest, officers located and seized items consistent with fire-starting materials and accelerants.” The man has also been charged with false alarm of fire, mischief and assault. No court date has been set with the accused held in custody until a bail hearing
