A 31-year-old man faces several charges, including possession of incendiary materials, after a disturbance at the North Bay Regional Hospital on June 16 “It was reported that an individual attempted to gain access to a secured area of the facility and made threats to set a fire. The individual was held by security and arrested upon police arrival,” the North Bay Police Service said in a release June 26. “Following the arrest, officers located and seized items consistent with fire-starting materials and accelerants.” The man has also been charged with false alarm of fire, mischief and assault.
