A man in his 60s died Saturday morning after being struck by a vehicle while walking along Route 139 in Bromont, in the Estrie region. The man, a resident of Granby, was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders after they received a 911 call around 11 a.m. Bromont Police Department spokesperson William Healy said the driver of the vehicle was not injured but was nevertheless transported to a hospital.
