Laval police set up command post for information on driver of blue Nissan

Laval police have set up a mobile command post in hopes of gathering more information on a driver approaching pedestrians last week in the Ste-Dorothée neighbourhood.

Police say on April 20 at approximately 4:55 p.m., the driver of a blue Nissan Versa (model years 2007–2013) allegedly approached a minor who was on his usual walk.

“The man’s words and behaviour necessitate an investigation to clarify the situation and the driver’s intentions,” a news release reads. Police say at least one other person reported being approached by the same driver under similar circumstances.

Anyone who saw this car is asked to meet with investigators at the intersection of Jolibourg and Bord-de-l’eau Streets between 4 and 7 p.m. Monday.
