1 dead after motorcycle crashes into southwest Calgary home

One person is dead after crashing a motorcycle into a home in a southwest neighbourhood Sunday morning.

Police say they responded at 6:03 a.m. to the 100 block of Wentworth Square S.W., where they believe a motorcycle driven by a man in his 20s ran into a home.

Paramedics were called to the scene where they declared the motorcyclist dead.

Police say there is no evidence any other vehicles were involved. They say speed, alcohol and drugs are not believed to have been a factor.

Police are investigating.
