One person has been taken into police custody after a disturbance near the Elora Gorge. Officers were spotted in the area near Victoria Park around 6:15 p.m. Friday. Several cruisers and at least one ambulance were seen by the entrance to the park. In an update about an hour later, police said one person was in custody and there was no threat to public safety. Officers were expected to leave the area.
