The River Cree Resort and Casino will officially launch Canada’s first Hell’s Kitchen on Monday. The restaurant chain features British celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, famous (or notorious) for both his skillful cooking and occasional vitriol. The restaurant features Ramsay classics like beef wellington, lobster risotto and sticky toffee pudding. No word on whether idiot sandwiches would be available. Hell’s Kitchen is also the name of Ramsay’s television series challenging the skills and stamina of young chefs in Hollywood. River Cree previously said landing a Canadian restaurant location was a “proud” moment for the region – there are seven active Hell’s Kitchens, all in the United States. The restaurant’s ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held Monday at 4 p.m.
