An Alberta woman is $5 million richer after a lottery draw in May. Shannon Keast of Legal, Alta. had the winning numbers (5, 27, 35, 38, 44, and 46) for the May 27 Lotto 6/49 Classic jackpot draw. “When I scanned it in store, I didn’t realize I’d won right away, I just heard the sound,” she said. “I was trying to FaceTime my husband and I was shaking and crying!” Keast says she’s looking at buying a cabin in Saskatchewan with her winnings as well as taking a special trip. “We’re also going to be taking a trip to Costa Rica for a wedding,” she said. “It feels so surreal and overwhelming,” Keast added. “One of the best days of our lives!” Keast bought her ticket at the Mobil at 8903 100 Street in Morinville.
