Search for suspect on after shots fired from one vehicle at another in southeast Calgary

Police closed several roads in southeast Calgary on Friday night while they investigated a shooting and were trying to track down a suspect.

No one was hurt, but police say there was a dispute between people in two vehicles, and one of the people fired a weapon.

It happened around 8 p.m. at 2nd Avenue and 25th Street S.E.

“The victim vehicle was located, while the offending vehicle remains outstanding,” police said.

Officers were at the scene searching for evidence and possible security video of the incident.

Roads were closed to accommodate the investigation.

“The road closures are expected to be minimal at this time,” police said.
