Pedestrian in potentially life-threatening condition following NE Calgary crash

A pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious injuries Monday evening after being struck on a northeast Calgary roadway.

It happened around 7:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Cityscape Boulevard N.E.

EMS transported one adult to the Foothills Medical Centre in potentially life-threatening condition.

Police say the driver remained at the scene.

Parts of northbound Métis Trail and westbound Cityscape Boulevard were closed for a time while the police traffic unit investigated.
