No downtown CTrain service through long weekend: Calgary Transit

CTrain stations along 7th Avenue in downtown Calgary are closed throughout the long weekend.

CTrain service is being disrupted over the long weekend in the city’s core.

Red and Blue line service will be shut down along Seventh Avenue downtown through Monday, Calgary Transit said on the city’s website.

Impacted stations include Sunnyside, 8 Street, 7 Street, 6 Street, 4 Street, 3 Street, 1 Street, Centre Street, City Hall/Bow Valley College, Victoria Park/Stampede, Erlton/Stampede, 39 Avenue, Bridgeland/Memorial, Downtown West/Kerby, Sunalta, Shaganappi Point, and Westbrook.

Shuttle buses will replace CTrain service between affected stations, including downtown.

Full CTrain service will resume Tuesday morning.
