A fog advisory was issued for a large swath of Alberta Sunday morning. Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) issued the advisory just after midnight Sunday, covering a stretch from the Municipal District of Lesser Slave River near Smith and Fawcett Lake in the north all the way to Vulcan County in the south. “Near-zero visibility in fog continues over some areas,” ECCC posted. “Fog will dissipate by this afternoon. “Travel will likely be hazardous in some locations. “Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced at times. Be prepared for areas of near-zero visibility and allow extra time to reach your destination.”
