Near-zero visibility in fog is expected for western Manitoba, Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) says. At 9:19 a.m., the weather agency issued a yellow fog advisory due to “saturated conditions under a ridge of high pressure” leading to patchy dense fog. Virden, Brandon, Rossburn, and Treherne are among the municipalities under the advisory. ECCC said visibility will improve late Sunday morning, but fog will likely return at night in some areas. “Travel will likely be hazardous in some locations. Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced at times,” the advisory added.
