Temperatures are slowly cooling down, but we will hold on to daytime highs above freezing for the long weekend.

Valentine’s Day will be a little chilly to start with a wind chill of -7 at 8 a.m.

We will have an afternoon high of 4 C, but by 4 p.m. in the city there is a chance of a few isolated flurries.

Sunday will be bright and slightly warmer.

We should get just above freezing for Family Day Monday.

But winter will burst in on Tuesday.

Expect cold temperatures and a significant snowfall.
