The normal daytime high in Calgary this time of year is 17 C, with an average low of 4 C. There’s a chance of some precipitation Friday afternoon and evening. Light showers and/or non-severe thunderstorms are possible throughout the day on Friday in central Alberta with additional thunderstorms possible in the foothills Friday afternoon and evening. Once that instability clears out, there will be a few days of persistent warmth. Starting Saturday, there will be a mix of sun and cloud for the Calgary area with light wind. The warmest day of the next week will be Monday with a high of 26 C. On Tuesday, the weather pattern is expected to change as a low-pressure system edges into the Pacific Northwest and introduces some precipitation to the southern regions of B.C. and Alberta. Rain is possible in Calgary from Tuesday until Thursday, with the heaviest accumulations likely on Tuesday night.
