Water samples were taken by the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU) from a south-end Barrie beach Tuesday. After the water was examined, the health unit determined that a swim advisory should be posted for Tyndale Beach. Staff have posted advisory signage and will be re-sampling the beach today. “We will share an update on the advisory once we hear from the SMDHU,” said Scott LaMantia, manager of marketing and communications with Access Barrie.
