A two vehicle collision slowed traffic at Mapleview and Bryne drives Friday night. “It was a T-bone collision,” said Barrie Fire Department’s Assistant Deputy Chief Thomas Bezruki. The collision occurred shortly after 7 p.m. in Barrie’s south-end busy shopping district. Airbags were deployed, and Barrie fire and police were still on scene after 8 p.m. A Simcoe County Paramedics spokesperson said they did not transport anyone to hospital. Barrie Police Service says the cause of the collision is under investigation.
