South Simcoe Police have laid charges against a man in relation to a break and enter incident in Innisfil over the summer. Police say between June 1 and July 18, the suspect attended a property in Innisfil on multiple occasions. According to police, the accused stole a lockbox from the property containing a key to a home. A weeks long investigation led police to an offender with a known history of “violence-related matters,” police say. In a rare move, South Simcoe Police have opted to name the offender for concern of public safety. Michal Nowaczek-Said was arrested on Thursday and now faces charges related to the incident. Police have charged Nowaczek-Said with theft under $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime (under $5,000) and two counts of breaking and entering (at a non-residence)
