The season to celebrate graduation is upon us and ‘Pop-up Prom Shop Donations’ is here to help. “I think we have 1,000 dresses - any colour, any size - we’re totally size inclusive, so we have dresses all the way up to 25,” said Kiley Stanley with Clearview Community Church. Prom season is an exciting time for many, but not everyone has the means to purchase the gown, the glittery jewelry and the heels to complete the perfect outfit. That’s why Clearview Community Church in Wasaga Beach wants to make sure that everyone has a dazzling look for the special night. “All these girls are so special to us and we know that not everybody has the means for a $500 dress or even a $100 dress and we would rather see them take that money and use it wisely,” added Stanley. “So if they come here, they can have the full dress experience without having to take out their pocketbooks.” Donations are still being accepted at 800 Sunnidale Road in Wasaga Beach and the group is looking for all aspects of formal wear. Then come Saturday, it’s time to shop, stress free and completely free of charge. Everyone is welcome at Clearview Community Church to select items from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
