Barrie police say an investigation is underway after a local restaurant was broken into. According to police, break-in occurred around 4:30 a.m. on Sunday at Fatburger on 535 Bayfield Street. Police say they are looking for a suspect who is described as wearing a black hoodie, grey jeans with a bandana face covering, black Nike shoes, green gloves and carrying a red Puma backpack. According to the social media post from the restaurant, five order-taking tablets were stolen and cash was removed from a till. The restaurant also claims several juices, cans of pop and a garbage can went missing as well. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact police, as Barrie police say the investigation is ongoing.
