For the next two weeks, one driver is without a car after provincial police impounded the vehicle. Huntsville OPP say a speeding driver caught their attention on Thursday evening on Highway 11, near Greer Road. OPP say around 8 p.m., officers observed the vehicle travelling at 185 km/h in a 100 km/h zone. The 25-year-old driver was charged with stunt driving and also faces a 30-day licence suspension. Police are reminding residents that in some parts of Ontario, driving 40 km/h over the limit can be considered speeding. Additionally, police say driving at 150 km/h regardless of the local speed limit is considered stunt driving.
