One person is seriously injured after a crash involving a dump truck in Caledon Wednesday afternoon. The OPP says a dump truck and passenger vehicle collided at Mayfield Road and Bramalea Road just before 4 p.m. According to police, the person in the passenger vehicle has serious injuries and has been sent to a Toronto area trauma centre. No other injuries have been reported. Police have closed Mayfield Road between Dixie Road and Torbram Road. Torbram Road is also closed at Old School Road. The closures are in place while crews are in the early stages of the investigation. The OPP tells CTV News the closure is expected to be a lengthy one with an approximate re-opening time of 11 p.m.
