A number of trucks are now out of commission as a result of the latest commercial motor vehicle enforcement efforts from local police. Provincial Police from the Nottawasaga detachment joined forces with the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario’s Barrie officers on Wednesday and conducted a blitz on County Road 90. The 19 kilometre stretch of road connects Barrie to Canadian Forces Base Borden, through Angus. According to a social media post from OPP, officers conducted more than 40 inspections and handed out 37 offence notices and took 10 vehicles off the road.
