Officers have seized a mix of drugs and weapons and charged two people after a drug trafficking investigation in Tottenham. The OPP says it received reports of a person allegedly trafficking drugs within the town. On Tuesday, investigators executed search warrants of a home and a vehicle in connection with the investigation. Authorities say as a result of the search warrants, officers seized 28 grams of mushrooms, 2.2 grams of cocaine, ammunition and 20 oxycodone pills among drug-related paraphernalia. A 35-year-old Tottenham man was charged with six drug and weapons-related charges and a 28-year old Tottenham woman was charged with unauthorized possession of a weapon. The accused are set to appear in court at the later date.
