Provincial police say a months long investigation into an illegal marijuana operation has come to a close. According to police, the investigation of a suspected marijuana grow site on Little Road in Bracebridge began in the spring. On July 16, police took action, executing two search warrants on the site with the help of various OPP units and government agencies. OPP say more than 4000 cannabis plants were seized from the site, in addition to related equipment. As a result of the investigation, a man from North York has been charged with unlawfully obtaining Cannabis.
