Innisfil’s weekly farmers’ market has been cancelled due to poor air quality caused by smoky conditions. Organizers announced the decision on social media Thursday morning after air quality reached an orange, “very high-risk” level across Simcoe County and beyond. In a statement, organizers said, “We regret to inform everyone that this week’s market has been cancelled due to poor air quality, as we are currently looking at an orange – very high risk – warning.” The market also noted that select vendors would continue hosting sales, adding that residents should keep an eye on its social media stories for details. Market staff said activities and sales would resume next week at the Stroud Arena parking lot, located at 7883 Yonge Street in Innisfil.
