Two men are facing child abduction charges following a search warrant in Essa Township. Police say early Wednesday morning just before 5, officers searched a home as part of a child abduction investigation. A 41-year-old Essa Township man is facing abduction of a person under 16, luring a person under 16 by telecommunication, uttering threats, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and obstruction of an officer. A 20-year-old Essa Township man has been charged with abduction of a person under 16. The accused will appear in court at a later date. Police are asking anyone with information on this case to contact Nottawasaga OPP. The investigation remains ongoing.
