Residents across Simcoe County received a substantial downpour Monday evening and in some areas of Barrie, bouts of residential flooding. But Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) says the risk of thunderstorms is still here. According to ECCC, a 40 per cent chance of showers and risk of thunderstorms remain for Tuesday. Residents can expect a daytime high of approximately 24 degrees with a humidex value of 31 and a daytime low of 16 degrees. ECCC predicts it will be a cloudy day for residents of Simcoe County, with cloud cover persisting into the evening hours.
