Aspen Valley Wildlife Sanctuary is celebrating the release of a pair of coyotes from their care. According to a social media post from the wildlife sanctuary, the pair were released from Aspen’s rehabilitation program. However, their release came with some new bling. “Staff from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) fitted the coyotes with tracking collars,” the animal organization said. “These will allow their movements to be monitored and provide valuable information about how they fare after release,” Aspen Valley explained. Once fitted, the animals were taken to and released in the same area of Stouffville where they were originally found.
