Police are looking for a suspect after a person was badly injured during a violent home invasion in Dartmouth, N.S. Halifax Regional Police responded to a home on Trenholme Street around 7 p.m. Tuesday. “It was reported that a suspect forced his way into the home, assaulted and threatened the victim with a firearm before fleeing the scene in the victim’s vehicle,” said police in a news release Wednesday. The victim was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Police say officers recovered the stolen vehicle, but they haven’t been able to find the suspect.
